Why it works
Everyone who sees your listing is inside their own planner, working through the categories one by one. Most have entered a wedding date and set a budget in Rands; neither is compulsory, so some are further along than others. When they open your profile, they are choosing a vendor — not gathering ideas for someday.
Every listing publishes its price up front, so your number is on the page before anyone writes to you. A couple who has set a budget only sees what their remaining budget covers, so you are not shown to people who were never going to afford you. A budget is optional and not everyone sets one — what we can promise is that nobody enquires without having seen your price. We do not hold or reserve money on your behalf.
There is a box on your listing. A couple sends one message with their names, their date and their town already attached, and you reply from your own console. Switch on email and we will tell you the moment one arrives — the mail goes through us, so neither of you ever sees the other's address. An availability calendar sits on the profile too, kept by you: a day you have not marked is shown as one you have not answered about, never as free, so nobody enquires believing a date is confirmed.
Six categories and nothing else, so a couple sees a page of vendors rather than a search result. Your work is shown as a gallery of up to ten photos with room to breathe, and you are not buried on page four next to two hundred competitors.
The listing fee is the listing fee. We take no commission and no cut of anything a couple books with you, and we never sit between you and your client.
Your price, your description, where you work and your answers to the standard questions in your category are yours to change on your own profile page, and your gallery is yours to load and clear — up to ten photographs, first one the cover. What the couple sees is what you last saved.
Your console counts profile views and the couples behind them over a rolling 30 days, each against the 30 before it, so you can see whether being on the shelf is sending you work. Those two figures are real on a free account, before you have paid us anything — sign up, leave the listing there, and let it prove itself for a month. A paid listing then adds the whole funnel: who favourited you, who wrote, where couples fall away, and every lead named with their date and their town. We will not quote you an audience figure, because the only one worth having is the one on your own dashboard.
Getting listed
Tell us what you do, where you work, and what you charge. A few screens, no application and nobody to wait on — the console opens as soon as you are done.
Free accounts are listed too — your name, your town, your price, your description and your answers to the standard questions in your category, as soon as we have confirmed who you are. Couples can find you, open you and favourite you without you paying anything.
A paid listing doubles your gallery, opens your availability calendar to couples, unlocks the funnel and lead tables on your console, and stops each enquiry costing credits to open. Judge it on the leads you can already see arriving.
